Room could benefit from improved mattress support!!! These room towels were thin and small, definitely not cozy enough for drying off!!! Better bedding materials would enhance the entire experience!!!

i’m sorry, but this place absolutely fails on every level. the sheets were not cotton, so we were boiling hot all night—terrible decision for a 'resort. ' i can’t believe there weren't even complimentary snacks in sight after such a hassle. why does this nowhere deserve a good review? honestly, you’d be better off anywhere else.

my stay at governor's rock was fantastic! the room was exceptionally clean, and i loved the cozy outdoor area to unwind after a long day. having a gift basket with snacks was such a nice touch that exceeded my expectations during this stay in shaftsbury.

Staying at Governor's Rock Motel was a delightful experience. The room was exceptionally clean and comfy. I loved having a private area outside to relax. There was even a nice basket of snacks and water bottles waiting for us! The bed was super cozy too, perfect after a long day on the road.

A Peaceful Retreat with Amazing Hospitality!

I enjoyed my stay immensely. The cleanliness of the room impressed me. The staff offered excellent local insights, and the lovely outdoor fire pit was ideal for cozy evenings under the stars. Future guests should not miss out on the provided firewood and marshmallows for roasting!
